I think ferns are beautiful, and what really caught my eye in this image was the different coloration in the three fronds. Shot in the Talladega National Forest, NW Alabama. LARGER version also included for greater detail.

1/8 @ f/11 - MLU and mc-30 remote release
400 ISO  (that's right, I forgot to reset my ISO)
Singh Ray Circ. Polarizer
Tripod
Capture One 4, CS4, TK's Lum.& Sat Masks, Marc's web sharpening

Critiques, suggestions, and comments always welcomed and greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

The yellow leaves coming in from the top are superb. Usually I don't like things that are cut off but here the leaves here interest me and add to the photo as a whole. The rest of the photo is wonderful as well :toast:

Very well done, Bill. The colors and the composition are outstanding. Maybe the ISO400 wasn't too bad. Kept down the shutter speed which can be a problem even with slight wind.
