I had visited the Wave many times before, but this was Varina's first time (we won the last 2 spots in the lottery). We decided to stay at for the Sunset anticipating that the passing storm would provide for some good lighting conditions....and we were not disappointed.

Canon 5D, Canon 28-70 F4L, F16@3.2s

After we took this shot we hiked back to the car under the moonlight. Thanks.

I've been to the Wave once. I did not see it under these conditions.

Spectacular shot Jay. There's a very small bit of rock reflection in the water on the left edge about 1/3 from the bottom that I would crop or clone but it's an extremely minor detail in a gorgeous image.
