I don't post in the Avian gallery too often, although I do enjoy viewing the excellent work here on a regular basis. I thought I'd share this image taken a year or two ago on Fishers Island, NY. It was a beautiful morning to photograph.

Thanks for all comments and critiques.

Elliot,
I like the misty mood you captured here. If this were mine, I'd try a pano crop cutting off the bright sky that for me it's a bit distracting and add more room to the left and less to the right.
I'd like to see more of your work here in Avian. :wavey:

I really like the feel to this. I might crop the top if it were mine . Very nicely seen.

I would not mind the top because it gives some prespective but I would crop because of the roof and chimmney.
Very nice tranquil shot.

A little too much "empty" space for me, also could be rotated clockwise a bit.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Here is a repost with a slight rotation and a crop. I'm not sure how I feel about the crop. It just seems as though there is no point of reference. Maybe none is needed. Thoughts?

Like the mist and the way the birds are positioned in the frame. Very nice!

Very different sort of photo. I much prefer the original, it's a lot more interesting. I would suggest cloning out the log or stick on the left side just above the ducks.
