Dawn at Mono Lake

I made it through a very cold and grueling night in the South Tufa parking lot in the back of my old Subaru station wagon. Getting this image made the trip all worth it.

One of the nicer images I've seen from this location - worth a night of suffering!

This is superb - one of the better Mono Lake images I've witnessed - the pastels are wonderful.

Certainly worth a cold and grueling night. I like how the Tufa pierce the horizon, and the pastel tones are "just right".

Fantastic image! The snow makes a nice contrast. Not only for the color scheme of this image, but also as a contrats to 99% of the photos taken at this location in the summer!

Benjamin,

A terrific Mono Lake image. Still the image for your business cards? Clean, crisp and wonderfully composed.

The light is gorgeous and I also like the snowcapped mountains that replicate the snow in the foreground. An image with a lot of depth.
