This looks like a painting with that wonderful background. Great to get him in full song. I think it could take a little more sharpening around the face.

Very nice "fringuello", Monica. If this were mine I'd crop the frame a bit.

A really nice capture with the bird in full voice. Interesting perch and lovely background. Point of focus looks as though it was on the wing and not the head. Graham

What a great singing pose, perch and gorgeous bg Monica. I agree that it's a touch soft, you could try a little more sharpening to the face. :toast:

Love the posture of the bird and the setting, but the focus does seem to be a bit off.

A beautiful little bird and a nice pose. I like the overall combination of colors of the bird and background. I agree that it could be a bit sharper. :toast:

Monica, I really like the pose and BG. It does appear a bit soft, but I think that has to do with the 2x tc lens combo. Is that the 300 f/2.8 or 300 f/4 you are using with the 2x? if it is the f/4 lens....very very hard to get that one tack sharp...no matter what yopu do, will loose some sharpness. Good shot for such a hard combo :toast:

Thanks everybody for the precious comments.
Kurt, I have a 300 f2,8 with 2x but HH it was difficult keep in focus this little guy. Unfortunately I didn't have the right tripod with me in that moment. Thanks again. :wavey:

I love the way the background matches the color of the bird, Monica. You sure captured him in mid song too! :toast:
