Came across this cascade on a morning hike out to a water fall in the Adirondacks. Found this to be the high light of the trip.

Nice scene and well composed. A little bright in the top left for my taste.

Nice composition, Greg. I like the shutter speed, too. You did well with the darker tones in this high contrast scene, but very bottom of the falls and the whole upper left portion are quite bright. The greens on the left appear to have little detail, too. If you shot this in RAW, you could double-process it, and use parts of the dark exposure as layers to tame those bright spots. If not in RAW (it should be) you might try some selective levels, curves, and/or shadow/highlight adjustments.

Nice scene. I like the comments Wayne made about double processing it. I have had some success with doing that on some of these although it might be difficult to get much detail out of those water areas that are a little "washed' out.
