These woodpeckeers were trying to get a nest started and a starling kept trying to take the nest. I don't know how it worked out, but it was a good lesson in bird behavior.

Neat interaction you captured here Jack. It looks like the lighting was quite harsh but nothing you could do about that. :toast:

Love the interaction between them! It looks like you could sharpen this a tad more and I think you might get some good results from the shadow/highlight adjustment by taking out some of the highlights.
