Richard,
I like this, especially the flaring of the sun. What was your processing technique for this. Also, how are you liking the 7D?

Justin,
Just a blend from two different exposures. It displays a little bit darker after posting here for some reason. I don't own the 7D - I was just borrowing it at that moment. Long story :)

Great job with the sun Richard. The rays lead you down in to the image where you find a very interesting folds in the foreground rock. Well designed and thought out comp.

The flow of the comp and the color/lighting make this perfection Richard. I love the ridge lines in the distance.

Great comp, color and light . Really like the sun and rays crossing the beautiful distant hills and then lighting up the rocks. This is very nice, Richard.

This is totally beautiful, RIchard! I think i would boost the fgt contrast very slightly, i think for this light some real blacks in the fg would be helpful. Great shot!

Nice shot Richard, inspiring. Great fg. Are those curvy rocks leading lines, power shapes, or both? The layers at the horizon are also very cool.

Beautiful Richard. Love those rocks in the foreground and how the lines lead the eye back to the rising sun. Outstanding.

Beautiful scene. The lines of the rock in the foreground are quite eye catching and enhance the composition a great deal. The light is well spectacular. The layering of shadow and color in the background are the icing on the cake for me. This must have been a joy to witness and photograph.

Richard,
I love this quality of light. It is so attractive and just makes me want to photograph it, no matter what it falls on, it will look good.
