Nice basic image!
If you're aiming for the high-key effect, the twigs and streaks at the top kind of detract; I'd suggest cloning them all out.
Then, you might want to level the bird a bit with some counter-clockwise rotation.
Nice colors and feather detail!

I think Sandy covered most of the points.It looks like you could bring out a bit of detail in the beach sand with the Highlight tool, if you wanted to do so.

Nice detail of the heron in this very interesting lookwith Snow BG. I like the comp. and agree with the twigs above and slight rotation. Otherwise, neet look.

I like this comp and the detail on the bird seems to be good. I agree with Sandy comment.
