Nikon D300, Sigma 150. F/20, 1.3sec, ISO 200.

My wife has this tiny houseplant which suddenly bloomed for the first time. I was intrigued by the small size of the blooms. I hope the detail is sufficient. Comments appreciated.

Nice detail, Albert, I especially like the Red's popping out. I would like to see this in a larger post, also. :toast:

Love the red against black. Nice detail and dof. Any idea what plant it is?

Nice composition Albert and the reds are great against that bg. The detail is excellent as far as I'm concerned. Being compulsive, the only thing I might consider doing is cloning out the two vertical pods? at the top and the blurred spot at the top about center. For my tastes those elements break up the shape of the main composition which I like very much.

The detail is fantastic, and I love the DOF Albert. The color is great. Very nicely composed and presented.

Albert the DOF is very good and the contrast to BG excellent. Only what could be improved to make this image perfect is to remove the two cut flowers at the top (best way to remove it before taking the photo). Otherwise excellent work. I like it.. :toast: :toast:

Albert, I like the arrangement but most of all I like the strong reds. And the detail works fine.

Nice one Albert. Detail looks fine. Nice DOF/POF. The reds look great against the black BG. Could this be some species of kalanchoe perhaps?

P.S. Thanks for your comment on my rhodie shot. Looking forward to seeing yours.
