Another bobolink photo from Bradford Co. I think these birds are simply gorgeous, and feel so fortunate for the late afternoon I got to share with 3 of them, all 3 males. I hope they all have now found a mate and make some more of these beauties!

Please see LARGER VERSION, too!

You worked the background very well. It allows the nice detail to shine.

Very nice Sharon. The only thing that would improve this would be just a bit more DOF, but you were pretty slow on the SS already, so closing down might not have worked well.

cool plumage, Sharon, and very nice details. I might prefer the bird just a hair farther left in the frame. very nice shot.

Nice bird, Sharon. I like very much the symmetry of the wings.

Fantastic pose to show the colors and patterns of the feathers. The head turn puts it over the top.

Love that head turn and straddled pose Sharon. A wonderful image of a species I've never seen.

A very nice capture, and excellent detail in the plumage. You've really captured the patterns in the feathers nicely. Excellent work.

Sharon,
Wow. I love this from beak to tail. Larger image is stunning. I agree with you they are beautiful looking birds. Don't think we have them out here where I live. My loss. I have no nits to pick on this one. Super!!! Dave :toast:
