Young love?? Well, I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing that this is a young doe and a buck, PA Whitetails. I was driving down a back road, saw them, backed up, and they still stayed put. So unfortunately, this was shot out of my window as they were only about 30 yards away. May not be super crisp, but I loved their open eyes and innocent look. D-60 on auto, 1/250th f-5.6, as I picked it up real quickly before they turned tail and ran--which they did, showing off their whites. Thanks for looking, C&C is welcomed, even under the circumstance.

For a quick out the window grab shot this is OK, you caught the deer alert and have framed them nicely. Thanks for sharing.

What a great composition for a spur of the moment out the window shot. The setting is perfect with the two surrounded by green and I like the placement of them low in the frame, showing the trees towering above giving that natural look. Well done.
Just curious what size lens? I've photographed a couple of these lately and can't seem to get a good clean image.

John and John, thanks for looking. It was a full 200mm, so max on the lens I had. That's part of what makes it curious to me, I was sitting so close!!

The deer on our left is certainly a buck, as he is just beginning to show antlers. I agree they offer an engaging pose and they are naturally framed by that little opening in the tall trees. Yes, a little soft, but for shooting through you window this turned out as a decent documentary image of the event. Thanks for sharing the encounter!

Not to repeat the story, but as I was riding i had the camera on auto/no flash just as precautionary in case I came across something I needed to get a quick shot at. As in this. Now, I noticed the several shots I fired came out at ISO-1600. I have no idea why?? No wonder it is noisy when I try to crop it up closer and soft. Any feedback, I'm confused! :frown:
