Another of my Egret on Black series.This really was alot of in-camera work. I metered for the bright whites then darkened the bk with curves levels and burning. Now looking at settings I wish i had lowered the ISO. I must have been shooting flyers and forgot.

Gorgeous image, Cheryl. Love those (? breeding plumage) feathers on the dark bg. Nice pose and composition.

Another super egret shot Cheryl. I like the bunch of branches in the BLHC they add some needed texture to the image.

The whites have lost just a bit of their pizazz with the PP corrections?

I wouldn't worry about the ISO 500, this one looks pretty noise free to me. Another beautiful image! :wavey:

Awesome Chery, as someone said, a true piece of artl! It is somewhat heartening (sorry!) to know it's not just amateurs like me that forget to change the ISO. :wink:
