Spring joy

Fleeting light over a beech forest. I wanted to capture something like this for quite some time, an image showcasing the vivid green and the capricious weather of spring. Your opinion is appreciated. This was taken on the same trip as the last one, in one of my quests to photograph the infamous Veratrum, from high above a cliff (you can check this image I made 2 years ago to get a better perspective of the place).

Spectacular, Dorin! I love the light green interspersed with the well defined evergreen shapes. The gray, almost purple, or the still leafless trees adds even further color contrast, and the light is exceptional. Well done!

Beautiful mix of dark and light greens. The bare trees are also a very nice touch. Love the sunlight across the center of the frame. Fantastic image.

It's funny, the similar photos I've made of the spring here in Southeast Alaska have a drastically different feel because there is a dominance of evergreens and just a smattering of the fresh leaved deciduous trees. I like the variety of soft and vibrant colors under the mixed light.
