Wild Thing #3

Purple coneflowers (the smaller pink ones are cat claw sensitive briar and the orange ones in the BG are butterfly milkweed)

Shot at the Konza Prairie a few years back with my Kodak P&S. Coneflowers are among my favorite wild blooms to photograph. With the wet winter we had around here, I'm hoping for a bumper crop of them this summer!

I've never seen them in the wild before; I'd be taking the time to shoot them too. Beautiful landscape here Angela

Nice capture, especially from a P&S. I've never seen these in the wild before, either. I have some growing in my yard and always enjoy shooting them at various stages. They make a great foreground element in your shot.

Angela: I love cone flowers but I'm not sure I've seen them in the wild. Beautiful scene and a fine capture. >=))>

A very nice scene from front to back. That's a great flower to have as the main subject . . . I'd be looking forward to the summer too!

A very pretty environmental shot Angela. I like the focus on the coneflowers in the FG. Very nice.
