Niagara Falls

I am not sure if this is a right gallery to post this photo because there is a bird in the image. But this bird is not the main subject of this image.

I visited Toronto during 8-13 May 2010 for attending a conference. Before the conference started, I spent one overnight in Niagara Falls and took this picture. I have seen so many photos of Niagara Falls earlier. When I actually saw it, still so impressed for its magnificence. I tried to capture something differently which was always so difficult for any well known subject.

A very nice detail shot of the falls. The bird is perfectly captured in the composition. My only suggestion would be to clone out what looks like some water droplets on the lens (probably a common problem at this location) in the lower part of the image. Otherwise, this is a very well done Niagara photograph.

Great shot. I would say the bird does become the center of interest. because of its contrast..nothing wrong with that...it makes the image..

Great isolation shot with the bird and the rainbow. I did not even notice the water drops. I really like the composition.

This does a great job of highlighting the power of those falls and the bird moving through the frame takes it up a notch.

Killer shot.

Needs the aforementioned clean up.

Yan,

A great and different take on Niagra. I'd say you succeeded in finding something different. The bird doesn't change anything with regard to ES&S (the bird is certainly of the earth.

Simple a well crafted and great moment in time. No nits other than cloning out the small dark specs at the bottom. Great job.

I think you succeeded in capturing something different from the falls, not something that is easy to do at such an icon. Very well done.
