Silene II

The latest submission of the silene was high key...now for a bit darker. Manipulation that some would say places this in photoart. I like working from a dark beginning then spot-brightening this and that.

Beautiful image Ken. I'm not sure what you've spot brightened nor do I really care but the resulting image is very appealing to me.

I like the soft feeling of this image. The DOF and the contrast to well selected BG is excellent. Well done Ken.

Ken: Beautiful rendition. I especially like the bud and your DOF management. Really good stuff. >=))>

Sweet image Ken. I really like the details in the flowers; makes them pop. A very 3-D image; exceptional work.

Reminds me of a weed we have here, except it has a white flower. I like your presentation and the lack of surrounding detail. Unusual subject, nicely presented.

Nice bokeh and I like the detail in the flowers. I prefer the darker, less high key effect. :toast:

Oooooh, works for me, Ken. Nice glow that looks like extravagant lighting and not unnatural at all. The various stages of the flowers' blooming pique interest.
