Ferns, Ferns, and Ferns

The forest floor was covered with ferns as far as I could see. After watching a black bear amble through the scene (wrong lens on camera to get the bear), I tried to capture some sense of what I was seeing. Shot taken in the Shenandoah National Park. All comments/suggestions much appreciated.

- rich lush Greens there. I remember a few shots resembling this one from you last year also.

Very well composed scene Philip, love the lichen covered trunks, and the light and detail is fantastic, gotta love being out in an area like this. Beautifully done.

That is a great carpet of green Philip. I like the texture that is represented by the ferns. I think I like just a sliver cropped off the top - but that is a very minor thing.

Awesome display of ferns Phil! Isn't it a shame that we never have the right lens on for the critters?
