Ferns #2

More ferns in the Shenandoah National Park. I liked the contrast between the coarse lichen covered bark and the fine, delicate texture of the ferns. All comments/suggestions much appreciated.

Philip: I liked the last one but the simplicity of the comp here is really good. The textures in the ferns and in the trunk are terrific. Good vision, good photography. >=))>

Holy Cow! I have never seen so thick of ferns. They'd probably arrest you for hiking off-trail....and my feet would be classified as WMD. The thumbnail does not do justice. This is a delight to see. Fun. Ken S

The strength added by the trunk really grounds the shot with a nice anchor. The textures and greens are great!

Vibrant Greens and lovely patterns. Love the inclusion of the tree trunk which gives solidity to the frame  . Good work, Philip.
