Okay, Ram posts a straight shot and I put up an abstract. Role reversal perhaps? Anyway, a different take on a day lily by isolating a portion of a petal. I did boost saturation and contrast a bit but otherwise this is a pretty straightforward comp and capture. All comments welcome.>=))>

Indeed, what's happening? I really like the larger version because of the metallic flake appearance. This looks like a deep lacquered paint job that should be on a hot-rod. Cool.

If this is supposed to be an imitation of Ram's work, I cannot tell the difference. It is going to be tough trying to pick out Ram's posting from the thumbnails in future. Very nice abstract.

Its like the curtain is opening on a grand stage. Very nice perspective and detail. The large image shows a few specks that could be removed before printing. :wavey:

Very pretty, Bill  - Nice to see an abstract from you. Daylilies are excellent subjects for abstract photos. I like the "molten" flow and also the sharp edge in the lower left corner. I wish the OOF thing in the lower right was not there though but sometimes its hard to accomodate everything, a problem I face too.
