Woodpecker- ID help!!

I found this guy right off a local nature trail in Hamburg, SE Pennsylvania and want to go back for better pictures. It was getting a bit dark when I spotted it. I thought it might be a ladderback woodpecker, but according to my books, that species isn't in the NE US.

Tech Specs- canon 7d, Tamron 200-400mm @390mm, handheld ISO 3200, f5.6, 1/200 sec, camera raw, about 30% of full capture

Hi, Neven - for ID help, the "Bird Photography" forum (under forums) is a better place than this Avian critique gallery..
Red-bellied woodpecker I believe.

As Sandy says, it's a male Red-bellied Woodpecker.

Thanks for the answer, Sandy and Jim,, I realize I posted to the wrong place. I will post here when I get a few nice shots from the nest site.
