I've seen this sign on previous trips to the southwest but the light was always too harsh. This trip the late am sun was diffused by cloud cover eliminating all of the harsh shadows and leaving the skull in a glowing light.

Really like the tighter crop and framing here. The subject is a perfect match for processing in black-and-white.
