I found this pair of BE resting on this old snag near Port Ludlow, Washington last week. My stay in Virginia is done. I don't miss the heat or the angry, hungry bugs, but I sure do miss the light!

Mike, I like the poses here, the old snag, and the way the two birds are positioned in the frame. I think that you have composed this well, but I will admit that the two branches exiting the frame to the left sort of throw the balance off for me--I wish that they were entirely in the frame.

I like this as posted, but agree with Brian about the limbs exiting on the left.

Great pose on the top bird and I really like your comp as well Michael. I agree with the others on the branches but nothing you can do about that. :toast:

Mike,
it seems that first and top floor of this condo are just occupied.
Neat shot and nice composition.

The strong contrasts in the photo are pleasing. Too bad the branches on the left exit the frame, minor consideration. Very good sharpness on the snag and eagles! I'm happy to see that others take expensive gear out in the kayak. Who will be the first to make an insurance claim? Not me I hope!

Very cool, Mike. I like the vertical pano crop. As you've mentioned, the light could have been better. But I'd be happy with this. :toast:
