Captured on top of a large rock in the old forrest just beneath the cliffs of Halleberg. Trying to get some feeling into my macros and I hope this one gives a feeling of beauty and graceness.

Captured with my new D300s and Micro Nikkor 60mm. Also used a polarizer.
Appreciate your comments on the composition and choice of aperture.

f/2,8 - 1/60s - 60mm and ISO200

Love this one Christer. Great use of negative space and perspective. Certainly this is both beautiful and graceful but it has a mood beyond that, that I find very appealing.

Christer: Excellent comp and concept and a fine capture. Good call on the polarizer. With this lens I would actually expect a bit more sharpness on the yellow anthers. At this image size I can't tell if the softness there is in the capture or processing. At this magnification and f-stop there is little margin for error and it looks like this one just barely missed.>=))>

Very creative DOF Christer. The leading line of the fern (?) toward the subject. Off center composition. Good composition in my book. :toast:

Little flowers in their habitat are so beautiful! The light enhances the small white subject lost in the green sea. I wouldn't cut anything in the composition. I like also the DOF and the effort for keeping in focus the leaves in the front. I love this kind of photo.
Take care.
