Tody Flycatcher

Another from Costa Rica.

This little Tody flycatcher was in and out bringing in material for a nest. It would usually stop on this branch before making its' way up to the nest. This was on the Pacific coast side of Costa Rica near the town of Jaco.

Love the contrasting yellow and black color and the inclusion of the nesting material adds interest. Well done.

Super image in its simplicity, Keith! Great look at the eye. The background is kind of funky, but goes very well with the flycatcher. Neat perch and the nesting material is a huge bonus.

What an odd little bird, it has a rather grumpy expression.

I think the BG works with the colors of the bird and creates an overall pleasing image.
