This was taken yesterday in Idaho. This very young Pronghorn was not sure what to do. She later laid down in the flowers and was not to be seen.

A cute little beast in a beautiful setting - very nice.
The plant stem merging with the eye is a minor shortcoming.

IMHO, the pronghorn is cropped too tight on the top, bottom and left hand side. Needs abit of room and some cropped off of the right hand side. I like the habitat you caught this little guy in. Thanks for posting.

Beautiful image Jack; the flowers make the image work for me as they complement the young, fresh and fragile subject so well.

Yes this one is pretty young. I found a new baby a couple of days ago and it remained "hiding" flat in the grasses so a clean photo was impossible. I am always struck at how large their eyes look at this age! Your exposure looks fine and it is fortunate that this one was in the field of flowers. Because the light is contrasty it would have been interesting to see how it would have looked if you had shot wide open. What a cutie!

A wonderful setting for a young pronghorn, what a find this was, I like the look and big eyes, I might be inclined to add some more room but a wonderful shot as is, way to go.
