Back in Time (1846)
by Eric Mannino
My daughter and I were shooting in the Smoky Mtn NP in Cades Cove and she just wanted to take pictures of this church. I didn't want to lose the morning light so I tried, unsuccessfully, to convince her that we'd come back to this church. She would have none of it.
I'm thankful for her persistence, because I was able to capture this image of the inside of the church. I handheld my camera because I left the tripod in the car. After I converted the image and adjusted the levels a little, I felt like I was transported back to 1846 when the church was built.
I hope you enjoy it.

I am humbled by all of the great feedback I've received thus far on the few images I've posted. I've been shooting for years as a personal hobby and have never sold any of my work to anyone. I'm beginning to delve into that side now and greatly appreciate all of the guidance from such great photographers.
Thanks.
What church was this?
Very compelling in B&W and the comp and perspective is wonderful.
