Wow, awesome detail and lots of detail. I like how the rocks curve up a bit on the ends of the photo to sort of encapsulate the subjects which look like they are on the brink of teetering off the cliff.

Very cute. I love the way they're snuggled together, overlapping slightly. I can see why this is a favorite.

12 on the 10 cute-scale!
EP material, for sure..
Excellent fur detail, great poses and bright eyes.
Not sure about the comp - I might try a bit more room, especiallly on top - but it's just fine as is.

Absolutely adorable Joshua. The catch lights in the eyes, the identical poses, the smooth blue BG and the perfect exposure and sharpness make this an excellent photo.

Great shot Josh...glad to see you posting over in this gallery. I like this best of all the images you have shared. Excellent detail and you really did a great job of capturing the playful attitude of these little guys.

Hi Joshua,
Very, very cute! I like this very much as posted, but wonder if it's cropped maybe just a tad too tight?? But without knowing what's outside the crop that's only speculation on my part.
Cheers...thanks for sharing this adorable pair with us...

Hi again Joshua,
You know, I've looked at the thumbnail of this image a few times (I find this often gives me a good "gestalt" of the image on a "macro" sort of scale) and when I look at the full-sized image critically I think the kids just aren't quite white enough here. Don't get me wrong - I love the shot, but just think it would be even brighter if the kids were a little less grey and a little more white! And, I think this brightening up would be most effective if it was localized to the kids alone (i.e., a selective increase in exposure/brightness).
Cheers...

Thanks all for the kind and constructive comments. This is my first fauna post as I'm usually a landscape shooter and post on ESS or RMNP. Lately though I've had some good experiences photographing the wildlife I've seen on my travels too. I surely wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to get some photos of these cute guys as they crossed my path last weekend.
There is a lot of extra room on the original photo. I cropped this one at a 4:5 ratio since it would simply be easy to make enlargements in that size. I already selectively took a little bit of cyan cast out of the coats but the whites could potentially go a little brighter without losing detail in the fur (I already brightened some of the ones on the RMNP forum). Again, thanks for the feedback.
