Nikon D300, Sigma macro 150. F/7.1, 1/250, ISO 200.
Another take of this tiny 3/4 inch mushroom. I find the lines intriguing, hope you agree. Comments appreciated.

Very interesting in your portrayal Albert. I think I would blur the rock that is in focus in the upper right of the shot.

Really like the way you composed it Albert, along with the sharp edge of the mushroom, not sure about the upper right corner, but it really doesn't take anything away from the overall shot. Nicely done.

Albert: I like the comp and the narrow DOF. Nicely crafted image.>=))>

I particularly like your dof decision Albert and I agree that the shape is interesting - made more so by the shadow. I like this very much. Very well seen and crafted. My only suggestion would be to blur out the sharpest part of the upper right corner a bit more.

Good selective use of focus, Albert. Almost an abstract but still retained the form of a mushroom.

such a wonderful shape of this little mushroom. I think you did so well to set that aspect as primary. The dof is grand as is the shadow, all of which keep me focused on that perfect shape. So nicely done.
