I was able to approach Proxy from the side and get as close as I wanted without showering in the spray
I waited as the light danced off the falls and a rainbow appeared.
C & C's appreciated as always. Thanks!

Fantastic colors, detail, lighting and water. What were the techs and equipment used for this?

Justin,
Crazy light and atmosphere! The rainbows are icing on the cake in this wonderful capture of these falls. You could carve this up any number of ways considering the three pieces to the rainbow. This is sweet!
However, just my .02, I think the yellow/green saturation is a little neon for me, mostly in the LRC, lower right corner. Other than that, this is fantastic.

One of my favorite waterfalls. I wanted to see it for years ever since I saw it on the cover of a Landscape Photography book. When we planned a trip to Bend, I thought it might be near there. So with a little persistance, I was able to find it on a little trifold tourists map of the Three Sisters area. Went back two times before I wanted a good shot enough to crawl down in fron of the base. Got shalacked with spray until I moved up to where you caught this from!
I think this comp is excellent as is the processing overall. I do agree with the saturation being a little, heavy, mainly in the greens. The rainbows are fabulous. It looks a little more lush than when I was there. More moss coverage on the rocks, and such.

An amazing place and your shot does it justice. Great color(I like color more than most), light, and comp. The rainbow is a great addition.

Nice approach and great capture with the rainbow. Great image of a very interesting location. Some bright greens, but I'm guessing that was on purpose.

Wonderful shot, Justin. The shutter speed is spot-on and the moment with the rainbow just right. I'm with Lon on the somewhat aggressive greens. The blues are surreal too, but they work quite well in here.

Justin, I noticed this earlier on Flickr as well. Love the blue/green, and the layers from left to right. Well composed and the rainbow is a great touch.

My thoughts are the same as Lon's. Love everything about it but I'd also suggest bringing down the saturation level just a touch. Gorgeous composition and an awesome image, Justin!

Gorgeous shot Justin. Love the composition. I'm viewing on an uncalibrated monitor so I can't comment on the colors being neon.

WOW! The textures and colors here would be enough, but the rainbow puts it over the top. What a fantastic place this must be.

Very beautiful, this has a magical quality to it. I does appear to be a bit over saturated to me, however.

I really dig the shimmering look to this due to the dappled lighting. Tone the greens down a notch and I think this awesome shot would be perfect.
