Super  :toast: :toast: . I am thinking if cropping a bit from left and right will strengthen this photo.

Mike: OK, I've learned my lesson. I'm wearing a chin protector when I open your images so when my jaw drops and hits the desktop the damage will be minimal. I can see where Ram is coming from regarding a crop but I like this as is. Your backgrounds are exceptional. Superbly crafted image.>=))>

Mike, what can I say, absolutely gorgeous in every way, and I definitely like the square crop, I can just pitcher it matted and framed. Beautiful.

Mike, this is great! I like the foliage...and your light treatment...the curls and shadowing is 3d deluxe! The blooms are interesting how one center is dark, the other light. The grey at the top of white petals looks like you've pulled shadows towards lighter tones and lost some coloring or clipped tonal transitioning...I qualify this only as my opinion ...and does not diminish this as super! Great b/g ...like a person portrait...snoot light, hair highlights...jeez...I too primp and prepare flowers. But, they never complain!! Ken S

Very well executed capture Mike. A formal studio portrait of Calla...Calla! When I saw the thumbnail, I immediately thought Mike Gallo, and it is. Thank you for the forwarded email on the possible alternative light source. I stopped by a place in "Old Town" in Lansing (MI) yesterday called Perspective 2. It is a business that caters in large part to photographers who need a camera room. Thye have two "studios" available plus a common area that can be used as a camera room. They also have equipment, icluding some interesting looking small LED continuous light sources. I want to check them out further.

This is gorgeous Mike. An exceptional image in every respect although it's the light and bg that I find most impressive.

The lighting, in particular, puts this over the top. Great work! (I agree with the crop suggestions but terrific either way).

Inspired lighting and background, Mike - a superb shot. ( I maybe agree about cropping a touch each side but this is first rate as is ).
