The 300mm is really great for DF. I am now able to get images which were not accessible to me previously. Another great plus with this lens is the isolation of the subject from its surrounding and the bokeh is really nice. This is the first of a series of DF images which I will be posting. Taken late afternoon at HK Park. It looks like the DF is trying to pry open the water lily bud; maybe it is a vegetarian DF

D90 300mmF4 + ET, iso640 F4 1/500sec, tripod cable release. Thanks of looking and C&C appreciated.

Nice color on the DF. I like the composition here and the placement of the DF. It does give the appearance it's trying to pry open the bud, very cool look.

It's easy to recognise vegetarian DFs because they're pink

Fabulous colours on this one, even the wing veins are pink; and the pink colour is reflected on that stripe on the bud. Excellent pose and bg. Good capture!
