This is exquisite! This shot really grabs me. You caught a great pose, with perfect detail. The contrast is high but for me that adds to the drama of the shot. The stick and the sky are just icing on the cake.

Great wingspread, light and stick really adds upto the image! Just hope that stick is not meant for the photographer
I do see halos from sharpening.

Superb in-flight pose. I think the sky color is really nice too.

Sweet Osprey image, Keith. I really like the wing position, and you did a great job on the exposure.

Again I agree in my eyes, either the contrast is too high or perhaps it is over sharpened a bit. I am still learning the difference. I also have been after these Osprey of late but have fail to capture any in flight with such distinction. Fantastic catch!

Now that's a photograph !!!! The fringing could be the reduction in size or oversharpening but does not detract that much.
Very nice work.

Looks as though the sky was selected from the halo effect around the raptor and then darkened. The definition in the whiter-light brown part of the feathers seem to smudged? The darker areas have too much contrast, besides that the POV and the moment captured are really nice.
