Another from the swamps of S. Louisiana. This warbler is feeding on aphids in this budding willow tree. Of all the willows in the area, this one located only a few feet from the gravel road, seems to be their favorite tree. The only problems they never seem to stop moving about and rarely get out in the open.

Beautiful Ronnie, terrific lighting on this guy. Only thing I might be tempted to do is clone the little twig right in front of him. :toast:

Once again, you have gotten some beautiful light, Ronnie. A very nice head turn and I like the frontal view of the body. :toast:

Wonderful light, once again.

I have a lot of trouble finding one low and open and stationary - I'd be happy with this in my files.

I see this species often around here, but rarely in such nice light. Looks great. :toast:

The setting is great for this little guy. Getting one in the clear in the tangle of willow branches is not easy. The blue to yellow gradation of the bg is especially nice. :toast:
