Images from Florida & Tennessee. The final image was produced from 18 different layers and a dozen layer masks. Thanks for taking the time to view... There's also a larger version.

Wow, I love it Marc! The colors are so glorious and the animals with the umbrellas are very amusing. So nice to see a lighthearted ocean scene as opposed to all the oil scenes in the news lately. :toast:

Fun photo and effect. Hmmm...I don't remember which parts of Florida and Tennessee that elephants and monkeys come from.

Angela,

C'mon... everyone knows there are no monkeys in TN. That's a Meerkat from Memphis.

Love the whimsy in this Marc. We don't see a lot of that on NPN and it's fun to see something this well done but in a lighter vein.

Very cool blend and some nice shadow work Marc. The Meerkat with the sunglasses is hilarious. Congrats on the weekly pick.

There are a few small issues if you are interested in working them out, and this is coming from a fellow photochopper. All are easy enough to fix with so many layers, and I'm sure you saved the main file without merging everything. One is the sea foam around the legs of the elephant. The front and rear do not quite match up with the legs. Also, the color of the elephant in relation to the rest of the image seems to be much warmer. The main image and umbrella have a cooler appearance to them. This could probably be fixed with a simple photo filter adjustment on the elephants skin or even a replace color...possibly making the elephant more of a gray color. This might also help with the darker shadows on the elephant you have.

Great image regardless, and it made me smile. Very cool work.

Great shot...made me smile..only suggestion to add is to slightly sharpen the big umbrella. Everything else seems just a little sharper..or not...its your baby... :toast:
