It sure is beautiful, can't tell if it is a front shot or back, is he standing on one leg?
I especially like the hanging moss and the touch of green, it looks like a starburst.
I really like this pic David!

A sparkle of white in a dour environment of half naked cypress branches. God is good!

I like all the room you gave the bird in this image, David. Awesome composition.

As a general rule I've become jaded to this display from seeing it presented so often but you've put a fresh face on it for me David. I think it's the magnificent setting with the bird relatively small in the frame. I really like this.

What a magnificent shot David. Such a great contrast... the Egret really pops out from this gorgeous background.

I agree with Ron. Living in Florida I've seen this display so often that it is just not that spectacular to me any more. BUT, in this case the environment surrounding the bird is so unusual and such a polar opposite of the white, feathery bird that the image taken as a whole is absolutely outstanding.

A thoughtful and well executed comp. I think most photographers would shoot when the egret is extended. Great "outside the box" shot.

A bright, feathery snowflake in a dark swamp. Well seen and well-captured. Excellent.

Wonderful shot David, comp is fantastic and that BG really adds to the striking egret, blow this one up and frame it, a real keeper!

Wow, very interesting, I have never seen that before. I like the contrast with the dark trees/background and how it really brings out the display, well seen.
