Oliver Twist Lake II

This image was made at Oliver Twist Lake (in Colorado) about an hour before the image in my last post. I wanted the distant mountain lit exclusively for this scene so I shot in a vertical format. Unlike the last shot, the wind was moving the water's surface so no chance for a reflection.

Wayne, I love the colors here.
The mountain might be just a touch too bright, with the darker areas immediately below it.
The mountin colors echoes in the yellow flowers is very sweet.

Very nice combo of elements. Nothing to suggest really. Just enjoyable to look at.

Another great take on a great place. I think that may be Mosquito Peak that is in the sun light.

I like the strong diagonal lines created by the peaks in the middle of the frame, and the rocks and wildflowers make a great FG. A very beautiful scene.

Really nice light and color. Excellent handling of what I suspect was a pretty big dynamic range in this scene.
