Gary's posting prompted me to follow suit. This one was taken at one of the lakes along the Kane Valley near Merritt, B.C. in June.

1D4, 500mm + 1.4X, 1/1000 @ f8, ISO400, bean-bag on car window, morning light.

Like Gary's - a wonderful shot KC - great detail and comp. particularly like the way the bird and the twigs go in the same direction

Thanks for posting this E. Kingbird photo, fun to see another variation of the same species. The left to right wind is implied by the raised crest and echoed in the perch direction. Nice color harmony. I like your natural perch, I have another Kingbird also posing on a natural perch that I might post to keep the run going.
