Liked the light and the alert pose by this guy, taken along the Rio Grande in Texas last winter.

Very nice shot Bob, Love the detail and color from the light. Nice BG. May be just a bit tight for me, but also love the close up. :toast:

Gorgeous detail and good separation from the complementary BG. I agree with Ken. If you have more canvas, the left and top side could use it.

Very nice, Bob. Excellent detail, great techs and the slightly open bill gives a sense of movement. Minor nit: I'd like a little more room for the bird to look into, but that's a matter of personal taste.

A really fine image in deed. Love the sharpness and the BG. The bill being open a bit also adds IMO.

Love the pose and the nice light, details in the facial area and the slightly open bill. I'd prefer a little more room on the left and top side of the frame, just my own personal preference though.

Just found this kiskadee image of yours. Very nice. Sharp and lovely intense colors on the bird. A little more room in front and above would be nice.
