Matterhorn in b/w

A different take on this magnificent mountain.

I did not have a lot of time to look for unique perspective and light - but I found this spot taking a trail above Zermatt one morning. I was just happy to be there, soaking in the beauty of a place which I wanted to visit for a looong time.

Most of the photos taken on this trip (Alps and Provence) are not post-able in this forum (not pure nature landscapes), but ,if interested, you can see in my website here

Looks like we all got the same idea Arnab. Beautiful spot light on the mountain. Clouds really add the drama to the sky. Nice work. Gorgeous images on the website.

Like the high contrast treatment here. It really makes those nice cloud shapes and sunlit peak standout.

The Matterhorn really stands out here. I like how you composed it, Arnab. What an amazing peak! Very well captured.

A different take for sure. My only thought would be to maybe crop some of the dark area off the bottom.

The sky is always bigger then the highest mountains. Great tonal work Arnab! I hear you're having an article for us to read pretty soon, looking forward to it
