Another GBH Juvi

Shot last Sunday in Gufport near the harbor. There were three juvies, probably sibling, hanging out that morning. This one caught an eel a bit later, but the images I shot weren't very good. I also have a few poses with another one catching minnows, which I'll post soon.

A very appealing comp here Bill. Love the FG, mid, and BG setup. The light really makes the mood for me. Bird looks sharp but is a bit hard for me to tell from the 720px image. Well done.

Hi Bill,
Nice light in this one. I also like the the very smooth background. Perfect placement of the bird made for a nice composition. Well done.

Sweet pose and I like the way the sand bar breaks up the bg. :toast:

Bill,

I love the background and think the sandbar adds interest while not stealing any attention away from the bird. Nice low angle, beautiful light on the bird and at this size it shows lovely details and sharpness. A fine image of this juvie heron

Excellent capture, Bill. The alternating sand/water of the bg works well here.
