This is really sweet Ian. Love the colors in the FG reflection especially, but the overall scene is gorgeous as well.

Like an artist's palette. Very cool. Now where the hell do you find time to post pictures, blog, write articles and shoot at every national park in the Americas?

Awesome shot, Ian. There's so much going on in here but the comp keeps it all together. The smoke adds some nice mood to the scene as well.

Beautiful scene, wonderful light. The blue and green colors really look nice here, and super nice reflection.

Gorgeous shot and hey, I don't mind the "self promotion" that I notice others tease you about from time to time . . . that's how I find out about the good stuff (blogs, workshops, articles, etc.) some of the posters on this site have available. Love the blue and gold reflections here.

I love the reflected color in the foreground river, but I do find myself losing interest as my eye ventures further into the scene. Maybe a higher perspective to strengthen the s-curve if that were possible? I love viewing landscapes from Yellowstone Ian, awesome work!

lovely design and light on this one Ian. I am on the fence with the amount of sky but can't decide whether incusion of more or exclusion will improve or not

Beautiful color here. It took a few seconds for me to properly orient myself with this location. It's amazing how much a good light show can change the feel of a particular location.

Ian, been to this spot many a time but no success yet. Conditions look just right for you. Love the ribbon of the Firehole River and its design and color. The steam from Midway a nice focal point. Well done.

Ian,

Blues definitely work for me here. The color really is displayed well in the design of this landscape. Nice work.

I love the reflection in the river. The juxtaposition of the warm and cool tones is so dynamic :)

Hats off to your work and efforts toward promotion! Doing this as a professional is not for the faint of heart, to which you and your image here (and others) are NOT!
