Caught this egret as it lifted off from a canal in the Glades. It was about 10 a.m. so the light conditions were harsh.

Wayne this is very cool! Love the white translucent wings against the dark BG and the water drops put it over the top.

Harsh conditions gave you awesome lighting on the water droplets and some cool shapes on the wings well captured

The light making the wings and beak glow, and the droplets he has kicked up and also the ones from his beak, really make this a decisive moment picture.

You turned harsh light into your favor by capturing this decisive moment with glittering water drops.

The light may have been harsh, Wayne, but it looks gorgeous here. I love the light through the wings and bill and all the water droplets.

The spray coming from both the beak and the feet set against that dark bg make this a terrific shot Wayne

Wayne, a really nice catch here!
The poor lighting really works to your advantage in capturing the water drops and shining through the wings.
Congrats on the EP!
