Lots of debris and not much water at the Bozenkill. I decided to follow the sun this morning. It was a very peaceful calming morning. CC Welcome. Thanks for looking!

The lens flare definitely is the "star" here. I like the details in the foliage too, but I'm not sure about the bright reflection on the water.

I like the image Wendy but agree with Andreas that the highlight in the reflection is distracting. Love the mood of the image.

I really like the light in foliage. Not sure about the star and agree with the others about the bright areas in the water.

Like the overall composition and the capture of light in the trees (left 2/3), but as others have mentioned not so keen on the bright part of the reflection. I personally find the flare a bit distracting.

Sunstar really catches my eye. Just wonder if a bit tighter comp might play it up even more.

Nice scene Wendy. I really like the star and foliage, but as others have pointed out the bright relection is kind of a distraction. It makes this seem disconnected to me. Still a nice image.

Hi Wendy,

Gotta go with the crowd here about the bright reflection. But no one has suggested the obvious alternative yet. Crop to a pano! This would make a great panoramic and also tighten things up as Tony suggested. The sun star almost looks like it was added, but obviously you caught just enough opening in the trees to be able to see and capture this.

The light/glow in the background forest is lovely. Nice catch.

Wendy, the sun star really grabs the eye, and I definitely like the greens, normally, the water is really rushing over the top of that small cascade, lets hope for some rain. Nicely done Dad.
