Sailors Delight
by Mark Shephard
I'm not sure if this image will be too small or not but everytime i look at it i can't help think of how peaceful that ride must have felt like on that particular day. I was just cursing myself for not having a big honking telephoto lens as the sail boat was quite aways away from us. This was taken on the ferry back from Vancouver Island to Horseshoe Bay on the Vancouver mainland. I beleive that is Mt Rainier in the distance. (but i could be wrong) The larger image says it all really.
Thanks very much for taking the time to stop by for a look.
As always your thoughts and comments are welcome and appreciated.

4 commentsI like this and I think others would also. If it were mine it would be printed and hung in my art show booth to see how it sold.

A terrific capture. You did really well with the composition and pano considering the short lens. You made it work. I like negative space and it is used well here, adding a real sense of space and scale.
Nicely done.
