Swamp Layers

Saw this gorgeous scene in the spring in BB. The layers you see are the shadows of the trees onto the "duckweed" floating on the water's surface covered (layered) surface. Nothing in the photo has been digitally touched. It was gorgeous!

I may have gone overboard, but this screamed...Panos triple reflection to me.

I did cut out almost all of the mat from the Panos effect in order to show more of the image.

I love 99% of this. The only thing i dont care for are those dark oval thingies at the bottom of the three panels. If you can get rid of those i think this would be brilliant.

Striking image. I like everything about it, but am confused on the framing. Understand it is three panels but is the separation part of a window or done in post processing? Guess I just don't know what the process of a "pano's effect."

Nicely done. Very creative. I would agree that the dark ovals at the bottom are a bit distracting.

Patricia,

the Panos reflection function is a plug-in for photoshop, that cuts your photo into three parts (no detail lost). then you tweak the colors and the mid-line shadow, that separates the photo from the reflection. I always delete this layer. You can find it at http://www.panosfx.com/

Stan,
Thought the black oval effects left over from my "tinkering" kind of gave the photo a "grounding" effect. But, you are right, I should get rid of it. It is distracting.

Here it is without the black.

The repost looks great! Id give you an A+, but then youd have no incentive to get it right the first time--so just an "A"

Stan...
Great answer... always strive to make it look best the first time.

Thanks
