Part of the Chugach Range near Eureka Lodge on the Glen Highway, South Central Alaska. Between foreground spruce trees, middle mountain range and sky I think there is enough layering to qualify for the challenge.

The large version has much more presence.

Beautiful scene, specially since it's about 100 degrees outside right now. I wouldn't mind if the shadows on the lower trees were opened up a bit, but that's pretty minor. I like this a lot.
