Yosemite National Park

Another from the archives - this one was captured last summer and just processed last night. I haven't even posted on my website yet. I've included a large version if you'd like to have a look. I hope you enjoy this one and thank you so much for your time and opinions.

Wish I was there too! This is beautiful. The color is wonderful and it looks so fresh and clean. Very real looking like I could walk right into it (and I would like to). Really nice work, Michael.

Looks like Tioga Pass with Mt. Dana on the left. I really like nice blue sky and white clouds, along with the green meadow and pond. Makes for a very enjoyable scene.

I really like the composition, the way all lines draw the eye to the distance in the center right

Michael,

I like the coolness of the FG coupled with the warmth of the BG. Well done.

Nice capture of a beautiful scene. I'm not sure about the clouds though. Everything is sharp and crisp but the clouds are slightly OOF. A minor nit, but it does draw my eye. Still, an excellent image, I'm envious. :toast:

Thanks everyone for their comments. I really appreciate it.

Sulaiman - this was shot at the beginning of July
Rudy - great call on the location
Eva- this image was actually taken about 2 - 3 hours before sunset in the late afternoon/early evening
Bruce - this was a 6 second exposure and clouds were moving pretty quickly through the scene from the west. The only ones where I can see movement are clearly on the very left side of the frame..

Michael,

What a beautiful mountain scenic. Great job capitalizing on the moving cloud cover; you've done an excellent job with the grads and exposure. Very, very minor nit, but I'm wishing the pond wasn't so close to the left edge - but that just my observation and doesn't really take away from the beauty you've captured here.
