A Juvenile Cardinal again, hope you can bear with me.
I don't use flash anymore for the birds. Couldn't anyway with my setup, and the 10fps I shoot these at.
F/7.1, 1/2700th, ISO 800. Canon 1D M3, 300mm f/2.8 at about 12 feet.
Afternoon light at 6:15. Manual focus. 10% crop.
