Nice 'wing-check' pose and the grass in the BG adds to it.

Hi Eric,
Nice shot of this species in it's environment. I personally think the light was a tad too bright for my taste. The image also needs a little counter clockwise rotation.

I might have to go up and try to find these guys Eric. Nice image. Love the pose and nice look at the eye. Maybe just a touch bright. Could easily bring it down in RAW if so inclined. It does look like some rotation is needed. What crop percent is this? Just curious. Cheers.

Fantastic pose, Eric. Nice job on the exposure and dof as well, but the pose makes this one. :toast:

Cool pose; makes my neck stiff just looking at it. I'd be interested in whether a lower angle might add some pop, or whether the bird would be lost against the bulrushes.

You cannot save time, you can only spend it wisely. Or, perhaps, freeze a moment of it in a photograph.

Ron, Redish Egrets are everywhere there! Counted 27 last Saturday. Picture is 75% of full frame.

I really like the posture, Eric. Good catch. The image stands out with those summer colors in the background.
